Golf Tour (8 Days)

Day 01

Arrival and transfer to Colombo. (45 min drive) Colombo is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. There are historical landmarks, popular restaurants, luxury hotels, pubs; 24 hour casinos are favorites among the tourists. Also several Shopping malls famous for branded items. We will give you a short briefing about the tour after checking in the hotel. If we have time we will do a Colombo city tour. Or you could visit the golf club. Over night stay at Colombo

Day 02

After breakfast proceed to play golf in Colombo. The Royal Colombo Golf Course is the oldest in the country, it was founded in 1879. A flat course with broad fairways features many water hazards. At the 6th hole, you may encounter the Kelani Valley train which runs across the fairway. It is situated within the city limits, yet it remains amazingly calm and tranquil. Course length is 6560 Yards. There are many facility available here, caddy, lunch, dinner, changing rooms, equipment hires, Bar, club bar. 20 Min drive to the course from the hotel. Over night stay at Colombo.

Day 03

After breakfast leave for Kandy. En route visit Pinnawela elephant Orphanage. Pinnawela is the famous Elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka. Its history goes back to 1975. Now there are more than 75 elephants live here. Some of them are injured, blind and handicap. It is interesting to see the feeding time for baby elephants and the river bathing. After noon city tour of Kandy including a visit to the Royal botanical Garden, shopping, Temple of Tooth relic and witness the Cultural Dance Performances.Dinner and over night stay at Kandy

Day 04

After breakfast leave for Victoria Golf Club to play Golf. Victoria golf course rated amongst the 100 most beautiful courses in the world by Golf Digest. It is 30 min drive from Kandy and Equipments hire shoes, clubs, food, tennis courts, horse riding, mountain bikes, Caddies, swimming pool, massages facility are available. 18 holes course length is 6945 yards. The following tournaments organize here. Tournaments: The Donald Steel Trophy, The Ebert Pot, The Pam Fernando Trophy (Ladies) The Victoria Bowl ladies (Ladies) Venue for the Annual Sri Lanka Golf Classic 2004.Whole day plays golf and relaxes.Over night stay at Kandy.

Day 05

After break fast leave for Nuwaraeliya. On the Way to Nuwaraeliya visit a Tea Estate and a Tea factory. The afternoon plays golf in the Nuwaraeliya golf club. This golf course is a tight challenging hilly course and scenic surroundings and situated middle of the Nuwaraeliya city. Tight fairways, dense rough and water which come into play on 6 holes. This is 18 holes golf course and length is 5520meters. Caddy, Food, equipment, shoes, clubs also golf lessons available. History goes back to 18th century of this place and one of the oldest golf courses in south Asia. It is 180 km away from Colombo and 1896 meters above sea levels. Highest mountain of Sri Lanka Pidurutalagala close by the course and surrounded by thick forest and tea plantation. Another historical colonial hotel “Grand hotel” and “hill club” also near by.Dinner and over night stay at Nuwaraeliya.

Day 06

After break fast play Golf in the morning and rest of the day relax in Nuwaraeliya. Dinner and over night stay at Nuwaraeliya.

Day 07

After breakfast leave for Negombo via Kitulgala. . Kitulgala is the only place to do white water rafting in Sri Lanka. The river name “Kelaniya” was used to build famous Oscar wining film Bridge on river Quwai. The filming was done close to the Rafting track. Area is surrounded by beautiful lush Green Mountain. Whitewater rafting (optional).Dinner and over night stay at Negombo.
