Day 01 & 02

Arrival and transfer to a Hotel in Negombo. Negombo is the nearest tourist resort area to the air port. This resort situated close to the Negombo lagoon and main industries are fishing and tourism. 30 min drive from the air port. Boat River Excursion and tile factory will visit in the afternoon. Second day after breakfast will visit fishing village and Negombo city tour.Two nights stay at Negombo.

Day 03

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya. On the way to Sigiriya visit paddy fields and coconut plantation and coconut husking. Elephant ride through the shrub jungle near Sigiriya (optional). The ideal place for Elephant rides in Sri Lanka.Over night stay at Sigiriya.

Day 04

After breakfast climb Sigiriya rock fortress. The magnificent rock 200 meters high and breath taking view from the summit. History goes back to 5th century AD the king Kashaypa build his palace on the rock. Beautiful frescos, mirror wall, lion Paw and decorated caves are worth to see. After lunch leave for Giritale. Afternoon Jeep Safari near National park spot wild elephant (optional)Over night stay at Giritale.

Day 05

After breakfast we will trek through a small shrub on to the near village. Village will visit by a trailer of a Hand tractor. Visit a paddy field. Rests of the afternoon relax by the hotel pool. Late after noon visit the archaeological site of Polonnaruwa by bicycles (cycling cultural site only). Pollonnaruwa is the second historical capital city of Sri Lankan history. This city was ruled by some Sri Lankan kings about 200 years 11th- 13th century AD. Rock carvings, historical ruin temples and Stupa displays glory days of Sri Lankan History.Over night stay at Giritale.

Day 06

After breakfast visit Botanical Garden and city tour of Kandy including Gemological Museum and Wood Carving Factory and many more.Over night stay at Kandy.

Day 06& 07

After breakfast leave Kandy. On the way visit Dabulla rock cave Temple. (This Buddhist temple’s history goes back to 1st century BC and situated top of a rock. It has five large caves with more than 150 Buddhist statues and color full paintings).Thereafter leave for Kandy. Kandy is the cultural city of Sri Lanka. This city situated 500 meters above sea level and it has mild climate all year round. On the way to Kandy visit a Spice garden, Wood carving factory. Late after noon visit the Tooth Relic temple and Kandy cultural show. Next day visit botanical garden, shopping and explore Kandy city by your self.Two nights stay at Kandy.

Day 08

After late breakfast leave for Nuwaraeliya. Nuwaraeliya is the Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort. Nuwaraeliya is the coldest city in Sri Lanka, also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing world famous “Ceylon tea”. We will visit a Tea plantation and Tea factory. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (2525 m) is located here. On the way we could visit few water falls as well.

Day 09

After breakfast proceed to Bandarawela by Train. Train journey will give you a memorable journey to see the mountain of Sri Lanka. Clear weather you will be able to see the Adams Peak Mountain from the train. Afternoon visit the Adisham monastery (this is a Benedictine monastery and old British planter’s house. Some believes it is replica of the planters Yorkshire or Canterbury house and it is on a hill. Beautiful breathtaking view from the monastery and surrounding area will make your trip unforgettable.Over night stay at Bandarawela.

Day 10

After breakfast proceed to Sinharaja rain forest. This forest is another world heritage site and comprises some 8800 hectares of natural and modified forest. There are 22 villages surrounded by this forest and locals enter it to collect medicine, fire woods, tap kithul (fish tail) palms for sap to make jaggery and brown honey. Fauna and flora rich this forest famous among bird lovers and naturalist. Near by Rain forest you will be able to enjoy fresh water bath. After noon visit the Rain forest. Over night stay at Rain forest

Day 11, 12 & 13

After break fast leave for Beach stay Benthota. Benthota is a famous tourist resort area in southern costal region. There are many hotel and restaurants on this coastal side. Also water sports, Turtle hatchery, Coral Reef, River Excursions, fishing, diving, swimming, Jet Ski, are famous activity here.Also water sports,Turtle hatchery, Coral Reef, and River Excursions (optional).

Day 14

After breakfast proceed to Negombo and Departure.
