Tikiri was our guide in February 2009. Thanks to Tikiri I left Sri Lanka feeling that I got in real insight into this beautiful country. Tikiri ensured that we didn’t miss any of the trips planned during the holiday which was much appreciated.
Thanks again for a memorable holiday."

"Tikiri was a really great guide during our family holiday in Summer 2006. I learnt a lot about the culture, history, and customs of Sri Lanka, as well as Buddhism, through his entertaining stories and anecdotes. He was very friendly and added a personal touch to an already spectacular country. Thanks for such a memorable experience, Tikiri."
I hope things pick up for you.
All the best,

I spent 15 days in Sri Lanka in February 2009, and had a wonderful time. There is such a wide variety of things to see and do. Highlights included:
1) Sigiriya. This is large freestanding rock similar to Ayers rock, but with ancient brick reservoirs built on the summit. You enter it majestically through the paws of a huge stone lion…
2) Adam’s Peak. This is like a Buddhist Lourdes. We started our pilgrimage up the mountain at 2 in the morning, and spent 4 hours walking up steps carved into the mountain. Luckily there are shops all the way selling tea and cake, so you can replenish your energy whenever you like. At the top there is a monastery where we watched the sunrise, and the sun casts a shadow of the mountain into the distant cloud, an unusual phenomenon.
3) Unawatuna. This is a lovely beach resort. We went snorkelling and saw some flying fish flitting across the ocean.
Tikiri (from Holiday Lanka Travel) was my guide, and was always very helpful and friendly. He would go out of his way to endure that our group made the most of our holiday. I enjoyed playing him at tennis, and a game of beach volleyball with him and other friendly Sri Lankans. He had lived in several English towns/cities (as well as in Sweden) so instantly struck up a rapport with the holiday group."

I know Tikiri very well, because I did a lot off tours together with Tikiri as tour leader for a Dutch company. I think we did more than 8 tours together.
I learned a lot about the inside Buddhism information after that I make my choice to become a Buddhist. I lived for many years in Sri Lanka and still this island is a part of my live , and 50 % in my heart I’m an Sri Lankan lady!
So when you want to organised a special tour Tikiri is het best guide in Sri-Lanka
