Day 01 – 04th March 2011

Arrival and transfer to Negombo. Negombo is the nearest beach resort to the Air port. Ideal place for relax after long flight. Here main industries are tourism and fishing. Also majority are catholic. Relax in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay Negombo.

Day 02 – 05th March 2011

Match Day Sri Lanka Vs Australia at Premadasa Stadium Colombo

Day 03 & Day 04 (6th & 7th March 2011)

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya. Evening elephant riding (optional) near Hotel Park and relax in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay Sigiriya.

Day 05 (8th March 2011)

After breakfast climb Sigiriya the magnificent rock 200 meters high and breathtaking view from the summit. History goes back to 5th century AD the king Kashaypa build his palace complex on the rock. Beautiful frescos, mirror wall, lion Paw and decorated caves are worth to see. Afternoon Jeep safari to national park close to the hotel which is famous for wild elephant.(optional) Dinner and overnight stay at Sigiriya.

Day 06 (9th March 2011)

After breakfast leave for Kandy. Kandy is the cultural city of Sri Lanka. It is a unique city, surrounded by beautiful mountain and mild temperature. There are famous cricketers Murali and Sangakkara come from this Kandy region. On the way to Kandy visit Dabulla rock cave temple. Dabulla Rock cave Temple (This Buddhist temple’s history goes back to 1st century BC and situated top of a rock. It has five large caves with more than 150 Buddhist statues and colourful paintings) after noon relax and visit the Cricket ground or Practice. Evening visits the Cultural show Dinner and overnight stay at Kandy.

Day 07 & 08 (10th&11th March 2011)

Sri Lanka Vs Zimbabwe Match on progress at Pallekelle (Kandy) Stadium

After breakfast leave for Cricket Match. Match details will inform by your team leader. Evening relax in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay Kandy.

Day 09 (12th March 2011)

After breakfast visit botanical garden, shopping then proceed to Nuwaraeliya. Nuwaraeliya is the Sri Lanka’s most popular hill resort. Nuwaraeliya is the coldest city in Sri Lanka, also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing world famous “Ceylon tea”. We will visit a Tea plantation and Tea factory. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (2525 m) is located here. On the way you will be able to see beautiful mountain and waterfalls.
Diner and overnight stay Nuwaraeliya.

Day 10(13th March 2011)

After breakfast leave beach stay. On the way to beach resort white water rafting at Kitulgala (optional) visit a water fall. Lunch restaurant close Kelaniya River. One time the film “Bridge on River Quwai” Was film here. White water rafting track is famous among visitors. Also possible to have fresh water bath and swimming in this Kelaniya river. Kitulgala surrounded by beautiful mountain and lush green vegetation. Many birds are common. Dinner and overnight stay at Benthota

Day 11&12 (14th &15th March 2011)

Relax in the Beach site Benthota. Benthota is a famous beach resort southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka. It is 65km away from Colombo. Many tourist hotels and restaurants surrounded by this resort offer many activities, such as water sports, river excursions, swimming, fishing, diving, kayaking, jet scooter etc. Dinner an overnight stay at Benthota

Day 13 (16th March 2011)

After late breakfast leave for Colombo. Colombo is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka and it is very famous among tourist and locals too. There are many land mark to see also famous Sri Lankan cricket ground situated middle of the city. There are many restaurants, pubs; night’s clubs, casinos and famous star class hotels close by. Overnight stay Colombo.

Day 14 (17th March 2011)

After breakfast leave for Colombo city tour. After noon, shopping, Relax Dinner and overnight stay Colombo.

We will not provide tickets for the match. Our holidays will therefore be provided entirely independently of cricket tickets. You must source this yourself. We anticipate that the ICC will provide an Internet-based tickets site. We also anticipate that tickets for games that are not Sold Out will be available at the grounds.
We will provide more details when they become available. In the meantime, we recommend that you contact the ICC or your national board.
